The dissertation examines the vasomotor function of the endothelium in persons exposed to radiation at different doses in the remote period after irradiation. The work is of a clinical and ultrasound character and is aimed at assessing the state of peripheral vessels, in particular the brachial artery, using tests of endothelium-dependent and endothelium-independent vasodilation. The study includes groups with different histories of radiation exposure, including participants in the liquidation of the consequences of the Chernobyl AES accident, and analyzes baseline parameters of the artery diameter and blood flow, as well as vascular responses to functional loads.
